History

Summary

Company Line

From renowned game designer Rick Goodman and respected game developer Stainless Steel Studios comes a detailed RTS that lets you completely command unique, historically accurate civilizations-from China to Germany to the United States.

From the Medieval Age to World War II, lead your nation to dominate the globe.

Each civilization's strengths and weaknesses affect the gameplay experience. Your ability to adapt to these differences is only one of the challenges you will face as a world leader.

Command battles with historically accurate units and abilities over land, sea and air. From a cavalry charge to a surprise air strike, you will know what it truly means to rule one of the world's greatest empires.

Game Play

This is a very unusual real time strategy game. There are a large number of history lessons in the form of cut scenes in this product. Some entire battles are stopped or even fought in cut scenes.

Plot

Follow Richard the Lionhearted's rise to the throne of England amid the treachery of Prine Henry, Prince John and the King of France. As Admiral Yi, help defend Korea against the Korean Rebels and the Japanese invasion. As General Patton you march against the Axis powers in North Africa and Europe, racing to reach Germany and to destroy the Italian Atomic Bomb discovery that is being developed by the Germans.

The box implies there is a World War one scenerio but there is not. Gemers are free to develop there own World War I battles with the editor included in the box.
