Bug!

History

Company Line

The Insect With An Attitude! BUG!, the gnat-brained animated hero, debuts in his first PC game. This insect with an attitude gets the starring role in a real-time 3D adventure just crawling with bugs. Guide Bug! through 6 Island Kingdoms - with 18 infested levels - to save his multi-legged friends before they're eaten for lunch! The ultimate mission: get to the showdown at the evil widow Queen Cadavra's web without getting squashed!

Game Play

This game plays and looks like Sonic the Hedgehog. The Bug replaces Sonic as you alter ego. The game is pretty much like a side scrolling arcade game. Bug uses his bounding behind agility and four different types of spitwads to defeat his enemies.

There are 6 worlds and 18 levels to explore and defeat the minions of Cadavra on. The game has two levels of difficulty and is aimed at the younger audience so it will be very easy for most adults or experienced game players.

Plot

Bug's friends have been kidnapped by Queen Cadavra, a spider whose kiss means death to bugs. Bug has to release his friends.

Graphics

The graphics are presented in 320 x 240 pixel low resolution and 640 x 480 pixel high resolution.

Animation

The highest resolution slows down the frame rate and makes the game sloppy.
