The game is bunk.
It runs like a boxcar-racer with square wheels. The story might be
fascinating (just like "they" say it is), but the gameplay is warped. I
have a P166/32mg/Viper 4mg Video and the game runs slower than Quake 2
would run on a 386. And I'm not kidding. I wish I could get to that
great story-line they are hyping about, but I can't seem to kill even
the fist wave of monsters because I can't move my player effectiviely
with such a low frame-rate.
Stay away from this game. Unless you are running a P300 and have more
than plenty of memory.
Is this a joke? It's almost 1998 and you need to download the drivers
and the patch for 3d video cards? Shouldn't this have been included in
the original release?
What were they thinking?
I'm going to try to get my 50 bucks back ffrom this lemon!

This game is not bunk.
It runs fine at full speed on a P90 with 32meg; the movement is if anything too fluid and fast - you need to slow the mouse settings down at first, until you are used to the interface.
The storyline is fascinating and varied, but definitely one for the spellcasters; go in there with yer typical swordwaver armoured like a lobster on steroids and you wont last a sneeze; go in with nothing but spells and youll get along fine.
Not the best game that Bethesda have produced - Daggerfall is still supreme - but it certainly doesnt justify the knocking review from CA.
