Downloads: from Ascension Designers: Using the cheats listed on this page can cause certain parts of the game to "break". For example, using the fly cheat can cause the player to possibly fly over crucial trigger areas and flag-setting areas, causing triggers to be broken and some parts of the story to not progress. The invulnerability cheat wll also have a similiar effect on the game. You may find yourself loading a savegame from much earlier because a crucial trigger or flag was not set off at the appropriate place in the game. Cheat Methods: In the Ultima 9 directory there is a file called default.kmp. When opened in a standard wordpad or other text editor you will find the following text line: [Cheat Commands] Simply add the following lines underneath it: alt+shift+i = toggle_avatar_invulnerable alt+shift+l = toggle_avatar_fly During game play the corresponding keys (alt+shift+i & alt+shift+l) will activate the cheat functions. You may also bind the following codes just as you did the ones above: pass_one_hour unpass_one_hour sunrise_sunset pass_one_minute unpass_one_minute toggle_sun toggle_wind toggle_storms toggle_avatar_fast Monsters Ignore You Just open up the backpack (pressing B). Monsters seem to ignore you when you have the backpack open. You can hack and slash at them as you wish then. In order not to let the backpack obstruct your view, you could drag it to the edge of the screen. Hints: Behind the Avatar's house, by the training dummy, is a fence with no gate. Normally, you can't get out. However, if you climb the dummy, you can jump over, or, using the fly cheat, you can simply clip straight through. Behind the gate, hidden by a bush near the large tree, is a lever. Pulling the lever reveals a variety of teleporters that will outfit you with armor or take you to various places in Brittania. Warning: There's no way to get back once you leave. First, go to the Gypsy at the Avatar's house on earth, and choose your virtue/class. Afterwards, pull the secret lever behind the Avatar's house, and equip yourself with armor. Teleport into Brittania, and make your way to the tower where you enter the world. The tower is actually a dungeon, and loaded in several segments, so open the door and walk in, and once it's loaded, activate the flymode cheat and fly up into the room you first appear in. Remove your armor, magic items, and anything else you want to keep, and drop them in that room. Exit the tower the same way you entered, and fly up to the top. On top of the tower is a teleporter. Enter it, and you will be taken back to the tower with your stats adjusted for class as if you had gone through the gypsy's moongate, the proper items in the chest, AND everything you dropped in the room initially.
